We welcome submissions from creatives of all backgrounds, whether you’re an artist, writer, photographer, or just someone with a story to share.

Below are our guidelines to help you prepare and submit your work.

Our CREA-Zine is CREABA’s monthly digital newsletter/magazine. It aims to stay connected to CREABA community activities, as well as showcase and archive creative individual’s work in a tangible form.

Theme/Prompt

Each issue of CREA-Zine ****will revolve around a theme. We encourage submissions that explore this theme from different creative perspectives.

We will publish our CREA-zine in our lu.ma newsletter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Beehiiv platforms.

💭 Submission Details &

• Deadline: The deadline for each submission will be written in the above section.
• Submission Portal: Please submit your work through the designated form above
• Submission Amount: You are only allowed to submit ONE work per edition. </aside>

🎨 Originality and tools

We accept original and unpublished work (3rd party publisher). Please ensure that all contents is your own. If your submission includes collaboration, make sure all parties are properly credited.

CREABA’S Policy on the use of AI

We welcome the use of AI tools as part of the creative process, but we highly encourage contributors to prioritize their original expressions and personal creativity.

Submissions should reflect your unique perspective and effort, ensuring the work remains authentic and meaningful.

Please disclose any significant use of AI in your submission for transparency.

In respect of our community members’ efforts, the use of submitted works for AI training or learning purposes is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

IV. Types of Submissions

We are currently accepting the following types of content:

📸 Visual Art (Art, Photography, Screenshots of any personal project)

• Submit up to 5 pieces of original artwork or photography.
• Format: High-resolution JPEG, PNG, or GIF
• Please include a brief description of each piece (title, medium, and any additional description).
• Example submissions:
  • Digital art, Traditional art
  • Photography, Collage
  • Screenshot of any personal project*
    • Example: Website/Personal portfolio, Others. </aside>

💭 Essays, Thought Pieces, and Reviews

• Up to [500-1500] words.
• Topics: Creativity, art, culture, or any topic relevant to the theme.
• Reviews: Share your insights on creative events, books, films, or exhibitions.
• Format: .doc, .docx, or PDF.
• Please include a title and short abstract/one sentence summary with your piece. </aside>

✍️ Writing (Fiction, Nonfiction, Poetry)

• Fiction and Nonfiction: Up to [500-1500] words.
• Poetry: Up to [1-2] poems, with a maximum of [20-40] lines.
• Format: .doc, .docx, or PDF.
• Example submissions:
  • Fiction: Short stories of any genre
  • Nonfiction: Travel logs, autobiography, etc.
  • Poetry: Haiku, contemporary, etc. </aside>

🎨 Multimedia and Digital Art

• If submitting digital art, animations, or other multimedia, please ensure the file size is manageable (under [File Size]).
• Format: GIF, MP4, and MOV for video or animations, and songs.
• Include a brief artist statement with the submission. </aside>
